Week of April 16, 2012

Monday, April 16
Portfolio Prep: Glue black construction paper onto the tag board and trim to size. Measure out and grid board to 3" squares. Printed image should be measured 8x6 - grid accordingly.
Advanced Photography: Continue work on Photojournalism assignment.
Intro to Art: Continue to apply plastercraft to wire armature. Once complete, sand and coat 2x with gesso. Let dry in between each coat by laying wet sculpture onto the radiator vents.
Advanced Pottery: Continue handbuilding footed vessels/paint morphed animals with acrylic paint.
Pottery: Create & cut out stencils, using drawing paper. Roll out slabs and cut using the stencils. Place a paper towel in between each slab layer and wrap in plastic to dry.

Portfolio Prep: Begin coiling construction paper into a mixture of tightly rolled and loosely rolled quills. Apply glue to the tab end of the construction paper. Glue down to chipboard according to the different value changes.
Advanced Photography: Continue work on Photojournalism assignment.
