Pottery: Continue pinch pot construction. Body tall and narrow, wider through the neck.
Portfolio Prep: Continue sketching self portraits.
Photography: Process test strip & contact sheets.
Intro to Art: Continue to break up background and object with shapes. Determine what values to use. Begin shading with drawing pencils.

Pottery: Students are to continue construction of pinch pot, working on the elongated neck of the vessel. Working together with fingers and paddle to mold the clay into the desired form.
Portfolio Prep: Students are to begin shading final drawing. Directional light source, value & proper composition are to be addressed.
Photography: Review corrected tests, assign cameras & review camera contracts.
Intro To Art: PowerPoint presentation - Form & Shape

Tuesday, September 13
Pottery: Students are to continue construction of pinch pot, working on the elongated neck of the vessel. Working together with fingers and paddle to mold the clay into the desired form.
Portfolio Prep: Students are to continue shading final drawing. Directional light source, value & proper composition are to be addressed.
Photography: Distribute cameras, instruct on film loading. Students will be given the first assignment - Classroom scavenger hunt.
