Beginning Photography:Students are to work on worksheet packet - The shutter.
Beginning Drawing: Students are introduced to negative space drawing. Review of identifying the basic unit choice, placing it onto the picture plane & transferring the material to a toned drawing surface.

Beginning Drawing: Introduction of gesture sketching - view PowerPoint. Choose student models & begin sketching. Several sketches/poses will be done, working from 30 second sketches to 5 minute drawings.

Intro to Art:Students are continuing to shade shattered image value studies. Studies are due at the end of the period. All projects are to be cleaned off, papers free of smudges & fingerprints, with the artist's name in the bottom right-hand corner of the paper.
