Pottery: Continue to embellish slab houses, glaze Face Jugs.

Monday, May 7
Portfolio Prep: Students will continue to fill their portraits will quilled shapes.
Advanced Photography: Students will continue working on their Photojournalism Assignment: Life at North Schuylkill.
Intro to Art: Students are introduced to new lesson. PowerPoint will be shown on Principles of Design, focusing on two: Rhythm & Pattern.
Advanced Pottery: Students will continue handbuilding footed vessels. Those who have completed the assignment will be able to work on completing past pieces.
Beginning Pottery: Students are continuing to work on their slab built houses - using additive and subtractive sculpture methods.

Tuesday, May 8
Portfolio Prep: Students will continue to fill their portraits will quilled shapes.
Advanced Photography: Students will continue working on their Photojournalism Assignment: Life at North Schuylkill.
Intro to Art: Video - Relief Printing. Class discussion to follow - students will begin working on sketches. Instruct class to fold their sketchbook paper in half and have 2 areas for separate thumbnail sketches.
Advanced Pottery: Students will continue handbuilding footed vessels. Those who have completed the assignment will be able to work on completing past pieces.
Beginning Pottery: Students are continuing to work on their slab built houses - using additive and subtractive sculpture methods.

Portfolio Prep: Take class to view the art show. Upon coming back, students will continue to fill their portraits will quilled shapes.
Advanced Photography: Take class to view the art show. Introduction of new lesson, Photomontage will be presented when they return.
Intro to Art: Take class to view the art show. Students will then continue to work on their thumbnail sketches when they return to class.
Advanced Pottery: Take class to view the art show. Returning to class, students will continue handbuilding footed vessels. Those who have completed the assignment will be able to work on completing past pieces.
Beginning Pottery: Take class to view the art show. Students will continue to work on their slab built houses - using additive and subtractive sculpture methods when they return to class.
