Week of November 14 - 18, 2012

Monday, November 14
Pottery: Students are to continue to work on slab houses, adding surface decoration.
Portfolio Prep: Students are to create large scale macro drawing 24x30 of their chosen architecture.
Photography: Layout composition of photogram will be created in rough form. Students are working on text.
Intro to Art: Weaving on loom. Students can change color for every inch of woven textile done.

Tuesday, November 15
Pottery: Students are to continue to work on slab houses, adding surface decoration to all sides of the structure.
Portfolio Prep: Students are to continue work on large scale macro drawings of architecture.
Photography: Library. Students are to print out text used in Photogram.
Intro to Art: Weaving on loom.

Wednesday, November 16
Pottery: Students are to continue to work on slab houses, adding surface decoration to all sides of the structure.
Portfolio Prep: Students are to continue work on large scale macro drawings. Transfer drawing to canvas & begin color value.
Photography: Darkroom work. Students are to work on creating Photograms.
Intro to Art: Weaving on loom. As students complete weaving, they will be tracing shapes that made up their previous drawing onto felt pieces.

Thursday, November 17
Pottery: Students are to continue to work on slab houses, adding surface decoration to all sides of the structure.
Portfolio Prep: Students are to continue work on color value ranges for painting.
Photography: Darkroom work. Students are to create their Photograms.
Intro to Art: Weaving on loom. As students complete weaving, they will be tracing shapes that made up their previous drawing onto felt pieces. Arrange cut pieces and pin onto weaving front.

Friday, November 18
Pottery: Students are to continue work on slab houses, completing them by the period end.
Portfolio Prep: Students are to begin painting canvases.
Photography: Darkroom work. Students are to create Photograms, choosing the best overall composition to turn in at period end.
