Basic Pottery: Introduce two featured pottery artists, use internet to research as a class, compare and contrast - begin sketches.
Portfolio Prep: Begin Hand Fantasy drawings - create 12 sketches of hands, both free standing and interacting.
Basic Photography: 35mm: Notes on the camera body.
Intro to Art: Introduction of geometric forms, light and shadow. Draw the 4 geometric forms in your sketchbook.

Wednesday, August 31
Basic Pottery: Complete sketches - 5 final. Demo on Pinch Pots, students are beginning in pottery room.
Portfolio Prep: Continue with hands- introduce shading, define light and shadow areas.
Basic Photography: 35mm: Notes on the camera body.
Intro to Art: Demo on shading - PowerPoint. Continue with geometric forms.
